7 Affirmations That You Need for Encouragement

Let's be honest, some days are just straight up crappy. 

You wake up and face the awful reality that you have to go to work or do that thing that you dread. Actually, let's be real honest. There are times when you're going to do something that you truly love and still feel like blah.

In reality, we all have those days. Weeks. Or, even months. Life is just draining. You don't feel as encouraged and motivated as you did last month or last year around this time.

I'm coming to understand that as we grow, we look at things differently and with that, how we react and handle things also has to change. 

I want to start with these two quotes that I have posted on stickY notes at my work desk.

YOU ARE WHERE YOU ARE BECAUSE OF THE THOUGHTS YOU USED TO THINK.

 

It's natural to feel down in the dumps. We all go through it. Staying in that place is not going to allow you to prosper and live out the calling that God has on your life. Obviously not, right?

Remind yourself of these affirmations. Post them up on your mirror using colorful stickY notes, screenshot this page and use it as a background or create your own affirmations and find the best way to encourage you to read them and say it out loud every day.

You have to learn to raise your own bar because no one ever regrets raising the bar high.

3. Every day, I will work toward who I am meant to be.

Speak these affirmations over yourself every day. Each day, it will be a reminder to keep pushing, to know your worth, to understand that you in charge of encouraging yourself before you can accept it from the outside.
