Keep Track of YOUR Vision.
You are the director.
Do you ever lay in bed at night and dream of what you want your future to look like? Ideas popping in and out of your head so much that it's almost hard to keep track? So for a while I have had a vision board that is placed on my easel next to my bed. I have said in the past that I would share my vision board, but it's not actually complete yet. I went to google and I searched how to create a vision board online and it was simple and quick. I used www.visionboard.me and the most that I had to do was type in the name of something that either inspires me or that I wish to have in my future.
A vision board is a collage of words and pictures that help to illustrate your ideas, goals and inspirations. This helps to clarify what you want to do and simplify the steps that you need to take to get there. A vision board can be used for monthly or yearly goals. I know myself, so I prefer to use it for the entire year. This is absolutely for you, it's personal, so there is no wrong or right way to do it. I am sharing the vision board that I created with you guys so that you can have an idea of it's purpose and revamp it for your own goals. This basically just needs to work for you!
So here is my vision board. Everything is pretty much self explanatory and the placement is spontaneous. When I am able to visualize things, I get a bigger and better picture of how I need to start to manage my own life and it is a great reminder for when you are slacking off. In my experience, I have had days where I was not as motivated or felt a lack of inspiration. I am one of those people who likes to write things down, big huge words in front of me on a canvas or likes to put yellow post-its all over my house. I even prefer when restaurant menus have photos of the food I am going to eat. What can I same, I am all about them visuals. My vision board has helped motivate me, although its not quite done yet, but that's fine because each day a new goal or desire may come about.
This particular vision board is mostly pictures, but you can put whatever you want. I also recommend a physical one—one that you can wake up to every morning without having to touch your phone or computer.
Hope you have great results once you begin your vision board! What's your plans for the remainder of 2015 ?
