"Everything and everybody is moving and because we're in a city that never stops moving, we're never going to stop moving. We're never going to stop reaching and raising up a generation to
live for Jesus Christ! "

This weekend was a brand new experience for me. Before going to the retreat with the young adults ministry from Brooklyn Tabernacle, I didn't really know what to expect. All I knew is that this would be an epic experience and that I would be much closer to God than I was going in.

Overall, this was truthfully a weekend that will never leave my memory. I met many new women and men who gave their lives to Christ. I became closer to God than ever before. I opened up a lot more than I usually do, facing my own fears and insecurities. I spent alone time with God. I took having faith to an entirely new level.

We stayed in cabins and in each room there were 13-14 people. My room had 14 girls, that is including myself. Going in, normally people would think oh my God, 14 girls it's about to be all chaos. I could be speaking for myself but I did not think that prior to and I am so glad that God blessed me with those 13 girls to room with.

So the word around town was that last year they gave a girl an award for wearing heels the ENTIRE trip. So prior to going on the retreat we thought what can we do to stand out?! And we accomplished that by wearing onesies.. Thats not all, we made a grand-late entrance into the dining hall for breakfast.. We came in doing the nae-nae dancing saying "huuuahhh, yupp in our onesies"
Goes down in "Movement" history!

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end.
- Ecclesiastes 3:11

Will you trust God and let Him change you daily, making you more and more like His Son?

My first ever bonfire experience...
To be completely honest, it was beautiful but next time I am wearing a mask lol.
